Kulmbach drug trafficker gets another chance to prove himself

He did several drug deals with 15- and 16-year-olds, sold marijuana in small quantities for at least 10 euros each in at least three cases. Judge michael eckstein took a lot of time to examine the personal circumstances of the defendant in detail. He also came to the conclusion: "the defendant has in itself completed a proper way of life. But then he lost his way, because the family connection was also missing." A decisive break in his young life was probably the divorce of his parents. For a long time he lived in a shared flat, which was not necessarily advantageous for his further life.
He did not make any gross profits with his crimes. In the questioning of the accused it also became clear that one or the other drug trafficker behaved differently than presented. Once he only served as a contact person, which also came to light during the interrogation of five young witnesses, all of whom are also known in the drug milieu of kulmbach and have already been convicted.
In his plea, prosecutor daniel gotz made it clear that it was really only a question of whether or not the defendant would be sent to jail. Gotz was initially of the opinion that there was no way around prison. In the end, the prosecutor pleaded for a lighter sentence, especially since the defendant showed himself to be reasonable. Defense attorney and lawyer frank stubinger pleaded for a suspended sentence of one year and nine months.
In his last words, the defendant ruefully stated: "I have learned a lot from this. I have ruined so much for myself and many friendships have also been broken. I have made a hell of a lot of mistakes that are also serious for me. I swore i would never have anything to do with drugs again."
